The Role:

  • Permanent Full-Time

  • Salary: $65k -$75k + 12% super

Key Responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of an AHPRA registered Podiatrist, you will:
· Assist with routine foot hygiene, such as cleaning and moisturizing.
· Trim non-pathological nails with nail clippers and filing edges using a file.
· File dry skin/callus using file or foot dresser.
· Provide basic advice on footwear
· Recognise when to refer to supervising podiatrist or facility staff.
· Documenting observations and interventions.
· Sterilisation of instruments.
What you'll need:

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance and willingness to complete Podiatry-specific training (provided by Healthcare Australia Education).
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Driver's License and Car
  • National NDIS Worker Screening Check (with online NDIS Worker Orientation Module "Quality, Safety and You" certificate)
  • Current season Influenza vaccination
  • COVID vaccinations and Booster
