As we continue to grow and expand our product range, we’re seeking a Marketing Coordinator who will play a vital role in driving our new product development, executing memorable campaigns, and elevating our brand across digital and retail platforms.

Job Role

The Marketing Coordinator will be at the heart of our marketing operations, working closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams, including Sales, Category, Product Development, and Procurement. You will be responsible for supporting and executing a broad range of marketing activities, with a strong focus on FMCG food marketing, new product development, project management, and social media planning and execution.

In this role you will:

New Product Development (NPD):

· Assist in the management of our NPD stage and gate process, ensuring projects are delivered on time along with the brand management team

  • Coordinate NPD projects from concept to launch, including packaging design, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Manage timelines, budgets, and communication between stakeholders to ensure seamless product launches.

  • Assist in identifying market trends and consumer insights to inform the NPD pipeline.

  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to research, test, and launch new products in alignment with Mayver’s innovation plans

  • Conduct competitor and category analysis to maximise the success of new products in market.

FMCG Food Marketing:

  • Work within the unique demands of the FMCG food sector to create compelling campaigns that drive in-store and online sales.

  • Support the marketing team in the development and execution of trade marketing materials and sales presentations for key retailers.

  • Help coordinate in-store promotions, sampling activities, and events to increase product awareness and consumer engagement.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using data analytics and shopper insights.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with brand objectives.

  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports to track progress and address potential risks.

  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to manage creative development, artwork approvals, and production timelines.

  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant food industry regulations and Mayver’s communications strategies

Social Media Planning & Execution:

  • Support in the development of engaging, on-brand content for Mayver’s social media channels (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn).

  • Develop and manage our 3mth social media content calendar (copy and graphics) across the Mayver’s & Locako brands. Ensuring consistent messaging and timely promotion of products and campaigns. Ensuring approval is provided prior to posting

  • Create high quality video content for social media and digital assets. Complementing our static posts, built by our graphic designer.

  • Create detailed briefs and work alongside agencies (photography/videography) to develop content for social, digital media and website where required and ensure alignment to brand guidelines

  • Support the execution of our social media and website strategies

  • Support the management of our direct-to-consumer website and online go to market

  • Monitor, moderate, and respond to community engagement on social channels, fostering a positive and interactive online community.

  • Collaborate with influencers, ambassadors, and creative partners to amplify reach and brand storytelling.

  • Track social media metrics, prepare performance reports, and recommend optimisations based on data insights.

General Marketing Support:

  • Support our graphic designer in create and managing website and weekly EDM content to ensure it aligns with brand, product and business strategies.

  • Assist with the preparation and execution of marketing plans, budgets, and post-campaign analyses.

  • Help produce a range of marketing collateral, including instore field flyers, POS materials, press releases, and digital assets.

  • Support PR and media outreach activities, including drafting communications and liaising with external partners.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to continually enhance Mayver’s marketing efforts.

  • Organise product deliveries and samples for influencers, ambassadors, and retailers

  • Support the cross functional team in coordinating any marketing materials required to support our sales efforts and retailer needs

You also offer:

  • A tertiary qualification in Marketing or Brand Management

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a brand/ marketing role within the FMCG - Food

  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve objectives.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and content creation.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an eye for detail and creative flair.

  • Demonstrated content creation, social media and website experience

  • A passionate and driven personality with a hungry and humble approach. A true rising star with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Experience working with social media management tools and content management systems

  • Graphic design and video editing experience are highly desirable. Experience in Canva, Adobe Suite, photoshop is favourable.

  • Competent user of the Microsoft suite of products (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Outlook and Calendars).

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Well developed organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • The ability to multitask, prioritise and troubleshoot

  • Hands on team player with a sense of urgency

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
