The Opportunity


The EHS Coordinator is tasked to support the operational implementation of VENTORA’s National EHS requirements. This role is responsible for facilitating and influencing the active engagement of relevant stakeholder managers in the planning, development and implementation of safety and other related programs to meet the overall business plans and corporate goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identification, planning and implementation of EHS related objectives and targets
  • Monitor and provide status reports and updates on identified action plans
  • Guidance and support in relation to EHS matters, including hazard identification, risk assessments, legislation interpretation and document review and development
  • Aid and guidance in conducting investigations, and when required, lead incident investigations
  • Conduct regular site safety observations, including reporting on both positive and sub-standard behaviours or actions
  • Report and communication on safety performance, safety observations and actions for OHS Committee meetings
  • Monitoring, planning and delivery of actions relating to housekeeping, compliance and upkeep of the Rowville facility
  • Undertaking Return to Work activities for the Rowville site


About You

  • 3+ years in a safety role within manufacturing or similar complex industry experience
  • Minimum Cert 4 WHS (OHS)
  • Incident Investigation – ICAM (desirable)
  • Certificate 4 in Training and Assessing (desirable)
  • Solid working knowledge of WHSE technical & legislative requirements
  • Experience in implementing change and fostering a WHSE-focused culture
  • Understanding of systems available to monitor, manage, and analyse WHSE performance
