Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Allied Health Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of a busy allied health clinic by managing appointments, handling enquiries, processing payments, and ensuring an exceptional client experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet clients over the phone, and via email in a warm and professional manner.

Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments for multiple allied health practitioners.

Handle patient intake and update client records using clinic management software.

Process payments, issue receipts, and manage health fund claims (e.g., Home Care Package, HICAPS, Medicare, NDIS).

Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.

Liaise with practitioners regarding client needs, bookings, and schedules.

Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including referrals and reports.

Assist with general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and stock management.

Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy policies at all times.
Requirements:

Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a healthcare or allied health setting (preferred but not essential).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Confident using computers, booking systems, and payment processing tools.

Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

A warm, empathetic, and client-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with allied health or medical software (e.g., Splose)

Knowledge of health funding systems such as Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, and private health insurers.

CPR and First Aid certification (optional but beneficial).

Language: Vietnamese fluent (highly regarded).
