About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Carina Leagues Club Limited as a Duty Manager. As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of this thriving hospitality venue. In this full-time position based in Carina, QLD, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the club, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards across all areas of the business.

What you'll be doing

1. Overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring all business functions run smoothly

2. Providing exceptional customer service and managing customer inquiries and complaints effectively

3. Supervising and supporting the club's team of bartenders, servers, and other front-of-house staff

4. Ensuring compliance with all relevant liquor licensing, food safety, and workplace health and safety regulations

5. Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

6. Contributing to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the club's offerings and guest experience

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar duty manager or other managerial role within the hospitality industry

2. Strong customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders

4. Thorough understanding of liquor licensing, food safety, and workplace health and safety regulations

5. Proficient in using POS systems

6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address operational challenges

7. Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
