This role is ideal for someone looking to develop a foundation in the HR and safety space with a keen focus on administration and document management .
You’ll work under the guidance of both the HR Manager and WHS Lead, gaining valuable experience in a supportive and purpose-driven organisation.

As an admin assistant you’ll get involved across both the HR and Safety spaces. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing administrative support including creating employee profiles, coordinating new starter details with our payroll and updating internal trackers.
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes
- Attending and capturing minutes at monthly Workers Representative meetings
- Designing awareness posters and supporting internal communication campaigns—perfect to grow your creative skills
- Supporting initiatives like annual flu shots and other staff wellbeing programs
- Coordinating and transporting staff and/or clients to medical appointments and relevant safety checks
- Participating in employee engagement and culture-building activities including weekly and monthly rewards and recognition initiatives
- Supporting WHS and HR teams in compliance, recordkeeping, and continuous improvement
- Travelling to our sites in Nowra and Macarthur as required

- Currently undertaking (or recently completed) a qualification in Business administration, Human Resources, Work Health & Safety, or a related field
- Confident communicator with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset
- Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and Police Check
