ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Credit Manager you will effectively manage your own credit ledger from end to end as well as continually communicating with internal and external customers to achieve credit targets. This role will be based in Clayton, working 9am – 5pm.

What a typical day will look like :

  • End to end credit processing, including reconciliations, banking and allocations
  • Managing your own credit ledger
  • Collection of payments and actively pursuing customers for overdue balances by phone & email
  • Processing of new application forms via our online portal
  • Making recommendations to set up customer accounts with credit
  • Reviewing and reinstating credit limits
  • Initial escalation contact for Credit Officers

What key skills, experience & attributes we are looking for :

  • Considerable experience with the end to end accounts receivable process
  • Ability to meet deadlines & KPI’s
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to build strong relationships with Internal & External customers
  • Demonstrated experience with reconciliations
  • A “go getting”, self-motivated, reliable and a proven team player
  • Experience with finance systems – Unit 4 (SAP preferred but not essential)
