About the Opportunity
This is a full-time, permanent position within a firm that has built long-standing client relationships across a broad range of industries and structures including SMEs, family groups, high-net-worth individuals and investment entities. What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee the operational management of a Business Services team, ensuring efficient workflow, review and delivery
- Manage a portfolio of established clients across trusts, companies, partnerships and family groups
- Review and support the preparation of annual financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT and other compliance deliverables
- Contribute to tax advisory, structuring and planning projects with senior leadership
- Mentor and train intermediate and junior staff locally, with oversight of offshore workflow
- Maintain strong client communication and proactively identify opportunities to add value
- Liaise with external parties such as the ATO, ASIC and legal or financial advisers.
- CA or CPA qualified
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Services within public practice
- At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
- Strong review skills and ability to manage a workflow across team members
- Commercial awareness and confidence in dealing directly with clients
- Strong technical knowledge across tax compliance and business advisory
- Proficiency with cloud-based practice tools such as Xero, XPM or similar.
What’s on Offer
- Salary package between $135K and $148K inclusive of super, depending on experience
- Autonomy and flexibility within a structured, well-supported team
- Pathway to more senior leadership roles within the firm
- Exposure to both compliance and advisory work, not just file review
- Inclusive, collaborative firm culture with a strong focus on career development.
You’ll be joining a firm with a strong client base, robust internal systems, and a commitment to providing managers with a clear and rewarding career pathway.
