About the Role As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a vital role in the production process. You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, performing quality checks, and working closely with your team to meet daily
production goals.
Location: Wetherill Park
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Rate: $35/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain rotational molding machinery.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
- Load, unload, and prepare molds and raw materials.
- Assemble, rework, and repair plastic products using hand and power tools.
- Conduct pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and quality inspections.
- Read and follow technical drawings and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production targets.
- Experience in machine operation, fabrication, sheet metal work, or plastics manufacturing (preferred but not essential).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit – able to lift up to 25kg.
- Confident using hand and power tools.
- Forklift license (desirable but not required).
- Reliable, proactive team player with good communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
