The Role
HSE Advisor required to start at the end of 2025 for a project starting in the new year. Our client is happy to commit to the right person now and has the enviable benefit of time on their side to ensure the right fit for all.
The role will form a key part of the delivery team for a $200m residential project on the river in central Brisbane.
This role will manage all Safety outcomes on the project. Inductions, SWMS reviews, monitoring high risk activities, consistent presence on site and a consultative, collaborative approach to ensuring all trades meet their safety obligations. You will have the support of an excellent Site Manager and team of supervisors.
About You
You will be trade Qualified with a minimum Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety. The ideal candidate will also hold relevant tickets for metropolitan building. You will have at least 8 years’ experience in a tier 1 or tier 2 principal building contractor or developer builder. Mining, civil or resources experience will not be considered.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of EBA and Non EBA experience and fundamentally understand how to navigate both environments whist fostering a culture on site of safety and productivity.
You will have high expectations and the emotional intelligence to inspire individuals and teams to meet the standards set by the team.
You will be a motivated team player that can demonstrate strong tenure in the relevant market and be supported by relevant and recent references.
