About the role

The purpose of the role is to provide high level specialist and strategic advice on complex matters relating to the agricultural sector including Ministerial correspondence and advice, legislation development and strategic communications. Responsible for implementing legislation, policies and deliver programs and projects that support the Government’s Sustainable Agri-Food Plan and AgriVision 2050.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).

Desirable requirements

  • A qualification in a relevant discipline, as provided by either a university, a vocational education organisation or a registered and accredited training provider.
  • Relevant industry experience.
  • A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
