As a Certificate III Business trainee , you’ll play a vital role in supporting the operational effectiveness of the Northern District within the Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management (DPFEM) . You’ll provide timely and accurate administrative and clerical support to our frontline services.
This is a dynamic and varied role. You’ll work across different teams, responding to business needs and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support your team with high-quality administrative & clerical duties, including filing, data entry, records management and other day-to-day tasks.
- Build strong organisational and time management skills.
- Assist in the collection and collation of statistical data.
- Receipt, record and distribute correspondence.
- Focus on delivering excellent customer service, responding to public enquiries both face to face and over the phone.
- Demonstrate ability to adhere to confidentiality obligations.
- Bring a positive, professional, mature, and enthusiastic attitude to the workplace.

- Wage: National Training Wage applies.
- Leave: 4 weeks of paid annual leave per year.
- Successful candidate will be required to undertake a National Police check.
