Currently we are seeking a Health Promotion Officer to join our team. The successful applicant will assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs in the community and hospital setting. The Health Promotion Officer works to build the capacity of other health professionals and the community to implement health promotions initiatives. The office for this position is based at Fremantle Hospital, however some travel across the SMHS region will be required.

Are you eligible? To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
