Description:
Our reputable client in Wellington is currently seeking an experienced MR Driver for a long-term role. This is a Monday to Friday position, with occasional weekend shifts available.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe delivery of LPG cylinders, ensuring accurate meter readings for billing purposes, and providing essential support to terminal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload LPG cylinder trucks at the terminal and customer sites
- Fill LPG cylinders on-site and prepare vehicles for delivery
- Deliver cylinders accurately and on schedule as per daily route plans
- Identify and report any site defects or hazards using the proper reporting format
- Perform repetitive manual handling of LPG cylinders
What We're Looking For:
- A valid MR licence with at least 1 year of driving experience
- A clean driving record & ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
- Local delivery experience around Wellington and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proven commitment to health and safety standards within the transport industry
