Requirements to apply
- Degree in Mental Health Nursing
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- A minimum of two years experience in mental health acute community settings, preferably in regional, rural areas.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to cultural sensitivity and inclusively.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualised care plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Offer crisis intervention and support.
- Collaborate with health care professionals, community organisations, and support services.
- Educate and empower clients and their families about mental health.
