Description:
Haynes are currently seeking a highly motivated and reliable Warehouse Store Personnel to join our client's well-established team in Emerald QLD. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse environment where your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including forklift operation, picking and packing, stock control, and general warehouse duties.
Position Details
- Monday to Friday roster
- Casual ongoing position
- 7.6 hours daily
- $46.87 per hour plus penalties
- Immedaite start available
Key Responsibilities
- Safe and efficient forklift operation to load and unload trucks and containers (if ticketed)
- Picking and packing orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Sorting and counting of incoming and outgoing stock
- General warehouse housekeeping duties including sweeping, tidying, and waste disposal
- Utilising RF scanners for stock management and order fulfilment
- Assisting with regular stocktakes and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Working collaboratively within a small team to meet operational deadlines
- Following strict safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
What We're Looking For
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Current High-Risk Work Licence - Forklift (essential)
- Demonstrated warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for use of warehouse inventory management systems
- A strong understanding of manual handling and safe work practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when working with stock
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively
- A positive attitude with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
