Are you an Emergency Medicine Consultant seeking a challenging yet rewarding position in one of Australia’s most picturesque capital cities? This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior clinical role within a major referral centre serving the entire state. You'll be part of a dynamic, well-resourced Emergency Department with strong links to specialist teams, retrieval services, and medical education.
The OpportunityYou’ll join a large, collaborative ED team providing specialist emergency care to a diverse patient population, including complex trauma, medical, surgical, and paediatric presentations.
As a Consultant, you will:
- Deliver high-quality emergency medicine care across a busy tertiary ED
- Provide leadership and supervision to registrars and junior doctors
- Participate in the department’s education, research, and quality improvement programs
- Engage in interdepartmental collaboration to ensure safe, timely care and efficient patient flow
This hospital is an accredited site for Emergency Medicine training and offers opportunities to contribute to advanced teaching and mentoring for ACEM trainees and medical students.
