About the role

Are you passionate about improving system processes and making a real impact on the student experience? In this vital role, you'll support the efficient functioning of TAFE Gippsland's core student systems—Student Management System (SMS) and Salesforce. From user access and system configuration to data integrity and workflow automation, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of our systems.

You’ll collaborate across departments to support key student administration functions and contribute to system upgrades, enhancements, and future planning. This is your opportunity to bring operational excellence, problem-solving, and innovation into a fast-paced and purpose-driven education environment. Location can be across any major TAFE Gippsland Campus, as negotiated with the preferred applicant.

About you

You’re a proactive problem solver with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for improving systems. You thrive in collaborative environments, enjoy supporting others through complex processes, and are known for your ability to communicate technical information in a clear, accessible way. With a systems-thinking mindset, you’re always looking for ways to enhance data accuracy, streamline processes, and improve the overall student experience.

Qualifications and experience

  • A formal qualification in a Business, IT or similar discipline at Diploma or above
  • Relevant systems administration experience (5+ years)
  • Experience in Student Systems is essential
  • Experience working in education or the TAFE sector is highly desirable

Mandatory requirements

  • Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
  • Current Police Check (not older than 12 months old)
  • Current Driver’s Licence (travel between campuses is a requirement of the role)
  • 6 months probationary period applies
