Your role:
Exciting opportunity to support the family services program area to develop and align with MARAM responsibilities and overall improved client outcomes. The work involves supporting staff development to improve screening, risk assessment and safety plans in line with MARAM. As a senior practitioner you will apply a contemporary intersectional lens to working with people who use violence, preferably in the context of working with complex and vulnerable families.
The skills you will use day to day:
Providing advice and support to family services practitioners around family violence.
Support and advise on Risk Assessments, Safety Plans and Screening.
Providing support to colleagues in the team including debriefing, joint visits and secondary consultation.
Conduct risk and needs assessments using relevant and contemporary frameworks, theory, and practice models, including Safe and Together.
Significant knowledge and experience in the use of current and relevant legislative frameworks such as the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) Framework and Information Sharing Schemes.
Manage a small complex caseload that involves families experiencing family violence.
What you need to know:
A salary at SCHCADS level 6 which equates to around $110,102 plus super.
Flexible through the increments up to 6.3 (dependent upon experience).
Based at our office in Bendigo.
Full time, fixed term, to September 2026.
