About the role:
Due to high demand and an increased influx, the business is seeking an immediate opportunity for a Customer Service Officer, specialising in Quoting and Estimating to join their team on a temporary basis!
This position involves preparing cost estimates through the analysis of proposals, reading schedules, reading electrical drawing, specifications, cost analysis, margin calculations, take-offs, and experience with CRM systems.
Ideally seeking for a candidate with exposure in the electrical industry or experience supporting sales teams.
Skills & Experience:
- Preparing sales/cost estimates & analysis based on project details and opportunities received from customers.
- Quoting, reading electrical drawings and schedules
- Experience in analysing cost margins and take off's.
- Responsible for understanding project requirements and products so relative estimates can be drafted for customers.
- Liaising with internal departments including sales, technical services, and operations.
- Investigating and resolving issues promptly regarding quotations (product and price).
- Actively logging all customer interactions with the company’s CRM platform.
- Support the sales team in any area of customer service when required.
- Working closely with Business Development Managers in providing detailed project quote submissions.
- Additional duties as required from time to time as per business requirements.
- 3+ years’ experience in or alongside estimating and quoting within the electrical industry or with a lighting Supplier/Wholesale space (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Initiative and the ability to problem solve.
- The ability to work both autonomously and within a tight-knit team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office-based programs.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Be proactive and show Initiative.
- Enjoy working within a busy, dynamic and rewarding environment.
- Full training of the systems and procedures
