Salary Package: Day Rate $336 - $376 per day + Super
Role Highlights:
The role involves a broad range of generalist payroll responsibilities aimed at delivering accurate, efficient, and high-quality payroll services.
Key duties include ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time in line with relevant agreements and government regulations. The position requires a strong customer-focused approach, responsiveness to queries, and the ability to produce clear and accurate payroll information to support business needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all payroll payments and processes comply with internal policies, Awards, employment contracts, and legislative requirements, supporting strategic financial objectives.
- Maintain payroll systems that effectively support business goals.
- Accurately manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees, including variations, superannuation, insurance, union deductions, and leave requests, while meeting strict deadlines.
- Ensure timely accessibility of payslips and tax summaries, and accurate filing of employment tax payments.
- Maintain audit-ready payroll records and assist with audit processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies and assisting the Payroll Manager in enhancing payroll delivery and functionality.
- Stay updated on employment legislation and collaborate with stakeholders to implement required changes
- Provide responsive, customer-focused service by addressing routine queries and supporting ad-hoc requests.
- Assist with external audit information requests and payroll-related projects as needed.
Candidate Profile
- An understanding of employment-related legislation across AU (required)
- Demonstrated experience working within FMCG (Preferred not necessary)
- 2 to 4 years payroll experience of end to end payroll
