About the opportunity...
We’re seeking a skilled and proactive Finance Business Partner to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A. In this key role, you'll play a strategic part in bridging finance and business operations—delivering financial insights and analysis that support effective, data-driven decision-making.
As a trusted advisor, you'll ensure financial alignment with business objectives while identifying opportunities for growth, improving efficiency, and mitigating risk. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, sound business acumen, and the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.
- Partner with business unit heads to develop financial plans, forecasts, and budgets.
- Support key stakeholders with ad hoc financial analysis for strategic decision-making.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize business performance.
- Analyze financial and operational results to better understand company performance, including developing key financial metrics.
- Conduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments.
- Engage with budget owners to compare actual monthly performance against budget and identify key drivers of performance.
- Assist with the monthly preparation of the MBR report.
- Assist in due diligence activities for potential investments or sales.
- Participate in ad hoc projects, including system implementations and business improvement initiatives.
- Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement.
- Leverage BI tools (Alteryx, PowerBI, SQL) to automate and enhance reporting.
- Ensure compliance with ELMO Group policies and procedures, including information security and privacy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Excellent commercial sense and ability to communicate and present complex financial information clearly to the business
- Analytical and logical problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
