They are seeking a full time experienced and qualified Construction Materials Testing Technician with a strong work ethic, who takes pride in their work and can work within our material testing laboratory facilities located in Mackay QLD.
The successful applicant will have impeccable customer focus, be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be risk aware and safety driven.
The Role
Sampling and testing fresh concrete as per Australian standards.
Utilising knowledge of aggregates, admixtures, sands, and cement-based products.
Routine Inspection of work and materials for compliance with specifications, regulations, and standards.
Performing computations and recording results of preliminary data.
Collecting sample pre-mix concrete products for compliance testing.
Working safely and accurately
Maintaining systems and processes to ensure ongoing NATA accreditation in accordance with ISO/IEC regulations.
This role is a great fit for you if you have:
Relevant Qualifications in Laboratory and Associated Techniques Activities in Industrial Science.
Knowledge and Ability to perform testing procedures in accordance with Australian Standards.

An ability to take ownership and manage your own area of responsibility without close supervision.
