In 1975, Central Steel Build began as a small family business with a humble, customer focused vision: to purpose build high quality sheds which would stand the test of time. THE OPPORTUNITY

As a Sales Consultant with CSB, your primary focus will be Business Development within the agriculture and farming sectors. Within an inbound sales process, you will actively qualify leads, seek customer-centric sales solutions and relentlessly follow-up within our HubSpot CRM to drive your sales pipeline.

You'll serve as the trusted advisor, understanding and solving the unique challenges our customers face in the agriculture and construction industries. Your role will involve leveraging your construction aptitude whilst seeking win-win outcomes for CSB and our customers.

Key areas of responsibility

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  • Be a key player in the Agriculture sector by networking and building valuable connections.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate authentic relationships with clients through networking initiatives.
  • Leverage construction sector aptitude and experience to provide tailored solutions.
  • Showcase expertise in building high-quality sales pipelines.
  • Utilise CRM systems for efficient customer relationship management.
  • Provide accurate and detailed initial design and technical recommendations.
  • Persistently follow up on opportunities, going the extra mile to secure deals.

ABOUT YOU

You possess a genuine passion for agriculture and a profound understanding of its market intricacies. With a track record of success in project sales within the agriculture sector, you bring exceptional business development skills and a keen eye for structural steel design.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in long-term sales within the agriculture/construction sector.
  • Proficiency in building quality sales pipelines.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel for business development.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and experience using CRM systems.
  • Networking prowess with a history of attending industry events; preferably in the Ag sector.
  • A hunger, drive and persistence, in following up opportunities, going the extra mile.
