About the roleProvide leadership, supervision, and support to the Specialist Outpatients Department Administration Team to ensure delivery of high quality, client focussed frontline services in a fast paced and demanding environment supporting a wide range of Outpatients clinics and Referral management.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
* Contribute to high professional standards for administrative services by resolving day to day operational issues related to procedures and staff within the team, assisting with review and development of work practices/policies/procedures.
* Utilise highly developed communication skills and tools to maintain a motivated and effective team.
* Manage and lead recruitment processes to ensure the administration establishment is at the full complement.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
* Demonstrated management and problem-solving skills of day-to-day issues within a front-line Administration team/Clinical environment.
* Demonstrated highly developed administration skills including utilisation of contemporary information technology systems,
* Demonstrated high level of written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with team members, staff at all levels and patients.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously to plan, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and be adaptable in a team environment.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
