About the Role:
Deliver expert advice and support to optimise HR and payroll system functionality and business practices.
Responsibilities Include:
* Provide expert advice on HR and payroll systems, ensuring alignment with business practices and legislative requirements.
* Support end users by investigating and resolving second-level system issues across payroll, self-service, and reporting platforms.
* Assist with system configuration, quality assurance testing, documentation, and upgrade activities.
* Identify and implement improvements to business processes and system functionality.
* Develop user support materials and deliver training and walkthroughs to build system capability.
About You:
It would be highly desirable to have the following skills and experience:
* Sound understanding of HR/payroll systems in a government or complex organisation.
* Ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality outputs.
* Confident in tackling problems independently, with a readiness to learn or enhance testing abilities and documentation practices on the job.
* Demonstrated communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* Familiarity with Queensland Government systems and processes.
