About the Role:
The Engagement Wellbeing and Outreach Capability Service (EWOCS) is a multi-disciplinary team that builds the capability of schools to utilise a case management approach for Students experiencing complex situations. As a senior Occupational Therapist clinical working within the EWOCS, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expert level advice to school leaders and school-based Occupational Therapists.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
* Support and Capacity Building: Provide training, mentoring, and supervision to school-based Occupational Therapists and university students to promote best practice and professional growth.
* Service Delivery and Clinical Practice: Deliver complex occupational therapy services using evidence-based approaches, including adapting interventions to meet diverse student needs.
* Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with school staff, regions, and external stakeholders to support inclusive practices, share knowledge, and enhance service delivery.
* Strategic Leadership and Planning: Contribute to school and regional planning, lead specialised projects and research, and participate in governance and service improvement initiatives.
* Advisory and Reporting: Provide expert advice on policies and practices, and prepare reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
* Representation and Professional Engagement: Represent the department in forums and maintain up-to-date knowledge in occupational therapy and education to inform practice and policy.
