Who we are looking for
We are looking for a proactive and analytical professional with a deep understanding of Finance and HR/Payroll systems who can translate complex business needs into clear, actionable system requirements. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator, systems thinker, and problem-solver, with a passion for driving continuous improvement and supporting strategic system transformation.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor degree (AQF Level 7) in Information Technology, Information Systems or similar course or IIBA certification or equivalent experience in the field of information technology.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting core Finance, HR, and/or Payroll systems
- Experience in systems implementation projects, particularly those involving transitions from external support to internal management.
- Experience translating business requirements into clear, concise, testable, and accurate user stories, process flows.
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Masters degree in Technology or related field.
- Familiarity with CiAnywhere or similar, Salesforce and Stripe.
What you will be doing
- Provide system administration and support across Finance and HR/Payroll systems, including critical CiAnywhere functions, and other smaller applications, ensuring reliability, data integration, and performance.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document detailed future-state system and business requirements that align with RASA’s strategic direction.
- Act as a central reference and information source, providing expert guidance and assistance in the system selection and project decision-making process for new Finance and HR/Payroll solutions.
- Gather data and analyse business requirements and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end-users, translating complex information into actionable specifications.
- Develop comprehensive functional specifications for use by system developers, including SaaS vendors, ensuring clarity and precision for all relevant RASA systems.
