Graphic Designer

Gleneagle
Gold Coast Full-day Full-time

Description:

Join a growing investment and financial services firm where creativity meets strategy. We're looking for a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to bring complex ideas to life through powerful visual storytelling.

This isn’t an agency gig - it’s a hands-on, client-side opportunity to shape how our brand and products are experienced across digital and print channels.

About Us

We’re a modern investment banking and funds management firm making institutional finance accessible to individual investors. Based in our waterfront offices at Varsity Lakes, our team is small but growing fast.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for designing high-quality creative that communicates clearly and looks exceptional. From conceptual campaign visuals to investor documentation, you’ll contribute across a wide range of design tasks - all with a commercial mindset.

Your work won’t just ‘look good’, it will meet business objectives and connect with our audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to ideation and visual storytelling for complex financial concepts and develop campaign collateral across digital and print
  • Utilise the Adobe Suite to deliver assets such as: product brochures, pitch decks, EDMs, website graphics, social media visuals, and interactive PDFs
  • Adapt designs across formats (Word, PowerPoint, HTML-friendly email layouts etc.)
  • Prepare brand-consistent templates, forms, and internal documents
  • Maintain and evolve brand identity while staying aligned with business objectives
  • As the sole in-house designer, you’ll take ownership of your own schedule and deliverables while collaborating closely with a supportive marketing team

About You
  • You don’t wait to be told what to do - you plan, take initiative, and deliver
  • You can translate ideas across media: from interactive PDFs and print layouts to web-ready assets
  • You understand that ‘fit for purpose’ means optimising output depending on medium and platform
  • You thrive in a professional environment where quality, accountability and teamwork matter

Must Haves
  • 3+ years of experience in senior graphic design, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat etc.)
  • Understanding of print and digital output requirements
  • Experience creating materials in Microsoft Office (Such as Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Comfortable working on a Windows PC

Desirable (but not essential)
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (We don’t expect you to write code, just enough to understand how design translates to web & email)
  • Experience working in finance, professional services, or another regulated industry
  • Animation/video editing experience (e.g. Adobe After Effects or Premiere) is a bonus
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma or Adobe XD, or an interest in growing your skills

Looking Ahead

As we expand into new product areas, there’s opportunity to grow with us and be part of something bigger. While the core of your work will focus on day-to-day design delivery, you’ll also have the chance to gain exposure to broader brand and digital projects - including the development of sub-brands, new platforms, and investor-facing digital experiences.

These areas will be supported by external partners, but there’s scope to contribute to brand strategy, wireframing, and UX/UI design - offering variety, learning opportunities, and room for your role to evolve over time.

Why Join Us?
  • Modern office overlooking the lake at Varsity Lakes
  • Down-to-earth culture: fun, supportive, and ambitious
  • Direct access to leadership and meaningful input into creative direction
  • Real impact - see your work in market, in client hands, and across digital channels
  • Competitive salary and room to grow with us
