The Project Manager will be accountable for the strategic planning and management of energy projects from inception through to successful completion. This role involves coordinating project teams and stakeholders, resources, and processes to ensure the delivery of projects in a safe manner, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client objectives and specifications.

This position is ideally suited for an individual with a strong passion for project management, continuous improvement, and innovation with a track record in multidisciplined project delivery

In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of Project Management, while contributing to some of the most groundbreaking initiatives and projects in the energy sector.

  • Oversee and manage end to end project management processes.
  • Project status reporting on milestones, deliverables, project budget forecasts, and risks.
  • Identify, mitigate and manage project delivery risks.
  • Management and tracking of project budget and schedule throughout a project.
  • Ensure variations to budget, schedule or scope are managed and approved within agreed delegations.
  • Produce monthly reports for project/s.
  • Manage day to day stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Provide design phase and construction phase programming services.
  • Foster a workplace culture of excellence, following our company values, Safety, Transparency, Accountability, Respects, and Sustainability.

Be part of the solution

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and communication skills.
  • Formal project management training in PMBOK or PRINCE project execution methods.
  • Good working knowledge of contract management
  • Substantial experience in multi-disciplined project management roles.
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
  • Experience within the power generation or gas/hydrogen industry an advantage.
