Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
* Salary range: $3481.60 to $3835.70 p.f. (AO4)
* 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
* 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
* Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The Team Leader (Clinical Support) role provides high level executive support to the Internal Medicine Department in conjunction with leading a team of clinical support officers to provide a support function to the Clinical Directors within the Medical Service Group. This role contributes to creating an exceptional place to work by consistently aligning workplace behaviours to organisational values.
Requirements:
* Proven ability to operationally manage a small administration team within a complex and diverse multidisciplinary environment, including a demonstrated ability to provide confident leadership and supervision skills.
* Demonstrated high level communication, negotiation and consultative skills in a challenging multidisciplinary environment.
* Proven ability to use initiative, prioritise, problem solve, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working autonomously
* High level interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (displaying tact and diplomacy when dealing with patients and staff).
* Demonstrated ability in rostering practices and sound knowledge of basic rostering guidelines.
* This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
