Why this Role?
As the Public Service Manager - Engagement and Communications, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of the HCMS Implementation Program. You will lead the development and execution of strategic communication and engagement initiatives to ensure stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with the program's objectives.
This role requires a proactive and collaborative leader with exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of stakeholder engagement, and the ability to navigate complex organisational environments.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive engagement and communications strategy to support the HCMS Implementation Program.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed effectively.
* Lead the creation of high-quality communication materials, including briefings, newsletters, presentations, and digital content.
* Facilitate workshops, forums, and other engagement activities to foster collaboration and understanding among stakeholders.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and engagement initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
* Work closely with program leadership to align communication efforts with program milestones and deliverables.
* Manage a team of communication professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve program goals.
The Perfect Fit
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Proven experience in managing communication and engagement strategies within large-scale programs or projects, preferably in the public sector.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building trust and fostering collaboration.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* A strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
* Familiarity with HCMS or similar systems implementation programs is highly desirable.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or a related field.
