About the Role:
As an Aged Care Kitchen, Cleaning & Laundry Assistant, you will be a vital part of our services team, contributing to the daily wellbeing of our residents. In this hands-on role, you will work under the guidance of experienced staff to build your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment.
Your work will help create a safe, clean, and homely space for our residents, playing a key role in their comfort and quality of life.
What You’ll Be Doing:
In this role, you will perform a range of tasks including:

Assisting kitchen staff with meal preparation, plating, and serving food to residents

Cleaning and sanitising resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared common areas to maintain hygiene and safety

Providing support with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and returning personal items and linen

Working collaboratively with the hospitality and care teams to uphold a high standard of service and care

The following qualifications and experience are desirable but not essential:

A certificate in basic food or hygiene practices

Previous experience in hospitality, cleaning, or aged care

A genuine interest in developing a career in the aged care industry
