The Location


Located at the base of Mt Louisa in Townsville, Bolton Clarke’s Glendale provides high-quality aged care in a friendly, secure and comfortable residential environment.


The Role


You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goes above and beyond every day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.



  • Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean and maintained at a high standard at all times
  • Vacuuming, mopping and polishing floors
  • Dusting, polishing and general tidying
  • Cleaning bathroom facilities
  • Attending to residents' personal requirements by ensuring the cleanliness of bedside cupboards, tables and other equipment or furniture located in the residents' room
  • Assist with the provision of a safe, efficient and hygienic care service through maintaining a clean environment and adhering to infection control practices.
  • Replenish and restock cleaning trolleys as required

To be successful, you will have:



  • Ideally your background will be in cleaning or housekeeping within aged care or hospitality.
  • Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team
  • Availability to work various shifts across various days
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Complete a police check
  • 2025 flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination
