Job Description

As the Green Bean Inventory Assistant, you will ensure all green beans are loaded into hoppers and stored for the roastery in accordance with all documented processes, ensuring all food safety and quality standards are always maintained. You will be required to comply with the safe operation of the forklift/walk behind stacker and maintain a clean and safe working environment within the warehouse and roastery itself.

This role is based at Campos HQ in Banksmeadow, where we roast our beans daily! You will work from Monday to Friday, from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

In This Role, You’ll Have The Ability To

  • Ensure the Jacky bins, bulk bags, small bags and pallets are correctly labelled and accounted for.
  • Load hoppers/Jacky bins with green beans in accordance with safety standards and SOPs.
  • Ensure the roastery is consistently supplied with green beans.
  • Pick and store Jacky bins in roastery to ensure continuous operations.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are completed in Sage.
  • Ensure all orders are picked on time and in full.
  • Ensure all inbound green bean deliveries are checked and recorded daily, in accordance with all inbound documentation (including regulatory requirements).
  • Efficient and timely communication of quality, and safety issues to stakeholders, as pertaining to inbound receipt of product.

For this role as an Inventory Assistant, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in precision.
  • A team player, who is prepared to get involved for a team result.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • You love coffee and are excited to learn how to roast the Campos way.
  • You have knowledge and experience with RF scanning.
  • A forklift license.
  • You have valid and unlimited AU working rights.
  • Physically strong – regularly lifting or move up to lifting 20kg independently.
