Requirements of the Role include (but not limited to)The position is a pivotal role in supporting the client ambition to strengthen Queensland’s building and construction industry by providing a high level of leadership in the delivery of project management consulting services.
- Coordinating and managing all aspects of building project implementation activities including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration and post construction activities and assisting in taking responsibility for the quality and suitability of the building product delivered to the client.
- Coordinating the activities of other project staff, external consultants, building contractors, managers and other business units in the achievement of project objectives.
- Ensuring individual project team members (external or the client's Staff) involved in the provision of pre- design, documentation, contract administration, and post construction services to clients are engaged, communicated with and coordinated effectively.
- Controlling variances by generating exception reports on time and cost aspects of projects management and performing project audits to establish project team performance as appropriate.
- Ensuring all quality assurance procedures within the work area are followed. Mentoring a team of Project Managers and other staff.
- Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
