We are seeking a friendly and experienced Food & Beverage Services Manager to join a vibrant team in the food and beverages industry. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food and beverage services, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and high-quality products. You will work closely with chefs, front-of-house staff, and management to develop menus, manage inventory, organise, create and oversee end to end functions & events and maintain a welcoming environment for all guests.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage service department
- Manage and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and adherence to company standards
- Manage all event enquiries from initial contact through to execution and follow-up and maintain accurate event bookings, function sheets, run sheets, and invoicing
- Create, promote, and sell tailored event packages (corporate, weddings, private functions)
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, ensuring cost-effective purchasing
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Work closely with the kitchen team to create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and trends
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Strong leadership, networking, and people management skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven event coordination and hospitality management experience
- High attention to detail and organisational ability
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations and financials
- A mature and professional personal presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with Property Management System RMS, POS systems (e.g., RMSPOS), and Microsoft Office Suite
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a hospitality supervisory or managerial role
- Demonstrated experience coordinating functions and events
- Strong RSA and compliance knowledge
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) – Required
- Current RMLV or willing to obtain – Required
- Food Safety Supervisor certification – Desirable
- First Aid Certificate – Desirable
- QLD Driver’s license – Required
