Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult clients to assess the nature and scope of legal issues across various areas including family, property, commercial and immigration law, and provide tailored, strategic legal advice
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, wills, power of attorney, family consent orders, visa applications, and court pleadings.
  • Prepare cases by conducting legal research, gathering evidence, briefing and liaising with relevant authorities
  • Draft and oversee the execution of wills, ensuring they reflect the clients intentions and comply with legal requirements
  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing regular updates on case progress and ensuring high standards of client care, confidentiality, and professionalism
  • Work collaboratively with other solicitors, paralegals, and administrative staff to support firm operations and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Stay up to date with legislative and regulatory changes


Key Skills:
  • Minimum 1 year post-admission experience in Australian legal practice

  • Hold a current Australian practising certificate

  • Strong technical knowledge across at least one or more of family, commercial, immigration or property law

  • Skilled communicator with a passion for helping people

  • Organised, confident and capable of managing your own files

  • Eager to learn, grow and be part of a high-performing legal team

  • Comfortable working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
