About the OpportunityBRAMS is looking for a full-time Finance Officer based in Broome, WA , to support the financial operations of BRAMS and of the newly established Leaving Violence Program (LVP). This position will provide essential finance and administrative functions to ensure smooth delivery of support services.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Booking and managing travel and accommodation for clients fleeing domestic violence
- Supporting payroll operations, including acting as backup for payroll processing
- Supporting accounts payable and receivable
- Performing financial checks, reconciliations, and peer reviews
- Assisting with reporting and compliance as required by program and funding bodies
- Collaborating with other team members and services to support the program’s financial integrity
To qualify, you will ideally have experience in finance or bookkeeping , and a high level of integrity and attention to detail . While formal qualifications are not essential, your ability to operate reliably and learn new systems will be key.
