The Location: Tantula Rise is a Residential Aged Care home located in Alexandra Headland on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
The Job
Promote wellness, independence, social connections and recreation activities based on the needs and interests of our residents. Assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of meaningful activity programs that engage and connect our residents and aligns with their choices. Assist in the organisation of social and recreational activities.
Be the smiling face who brightens the day of our residents at Tantula Rise
You bring:
- A Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or Cert III in aged care
- Experience in a similar role,
- A current First Aid Certificate (with CPR),
- NDIS clearance (or ability to obtain one prior to commencement),
- Experience in delivering social and recreational activities and programs to seniors
- A background in providing support to residents with cognitive impairment.
- A genuine passion to work with the elderly
- Fabulous communication, team work and basic computer skills
- Current flu and COVID Vaccinations (mandatory)
