About the role:
Our client is looking for Speech Pathologist to join their multidisciplinary health organisation providing innovative, engaging and highly successful rehabilitation programs.
- Start your day with a 5-10min team huddle
- Clients are generally seen hourly with access to multiple private treatments rooms, large, air-conditioned gym and an extensive range of equipment and technology such as the virtual reality headsets.
- Work closely with an experienced multi-disciplinary team that offers a challenging but extremely supportive work environment.
A Typical Day Might Include:
- Clinic-Based Appointments: Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on ADL rehabilitation, cognitive rehabilitation, and upper limb retraining using virtual reality tools and traditional methods.
- Assistive Technology Trials: Evaluate and trial equipment, including wheelchair seating, mobility aids, and adaptive equipment to ensure clients receive the most appropriate devices for their needs.
- ADL Rehabilitation: Work with clients on self-care activities like dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and home management tasks, aiming to enhance
