Our NSW Government client are hiring for a highly capable SAP Technical Analyst - UX/UI - to join the organisation. This role requires candidates with a strong capability in both UX awareness and UI developmental skills, centred around knowledge of SAP systems.
Role Title: SAP Technical Analyst - UX/UI
Contract Role Till: Until 15/07/2026
Daily Pay: $900 - $970+ Super per day.
Location: Parramatta (2150)/WFH Hybrid. A minimum of two days in office (usually Thursday and Friday).
Key accountabilities/competencies:
SAP Development
- 3-5 years in SAP development, including strong experience of SAP Fiori and SAP UI5, Fiori elements based applications.
- Strong understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Gateway, and OData services.
- Experience with SAP backend integration using ABAP and CDS views on S4HANA environment.
UI/UX Design & Accessibility
- Proficiency in UI5 development, including custom controls and responsive design principles.
- Hands-on experience in UI/UX design, ensuring user-centred interfaces.
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and implementing accessible web applications.
- Familiarity with ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and best practices for inclusive design.
Figma & Design Collaboration
- Ability to translate Figma designs into SAP UI5 applications.
- Strong understanding of design systems, component libraries, and prototyping.
- Experience working closely with UX designers and product teams to refine user experience.
Skills and Experience required:
Technical Skills
- ABAP, UI5, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with modern front-end frameworks.
- REST API and OData integration experience.
- Strong debugging and performance optimisation skills.
Soft Skills
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, including designers and business analysts.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
