About the role:

BaptistCare is one of Australia’s largest home care providers and at the forefront of service quality and innovation. Due to growth, BaptistCare is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join the team support clients in Port Macquarie and surrounding areas.

This key role delivers evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and intervention to our clients under Aged Care Funding. These services aim to promote independence and restore functional independence to enable clients to remain living at home.
Permanent daytime schedules apply to this role with no weekend or shift work required.

To be successful in the role, you must possess:

  • A Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
  • Proven ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients within the community.
  • Postgraduate experience working across diverse aged care services, including community-based settings.
  • Thorough knowledge of health and well-being frameworks, including reablement and restorative care models.
  • Demonstrated capability to operate effectively both as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in computer literacy, with a willingness to utilise required software to facilitate remote work.
  • Commitment to understanding and upholding BaptistCare’s Christian identity, actively promoting organisational values through professional interactions.
  • Hold a current first aid certificate or demonstrate a willingness to obtain one.
  • Possess a valid unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage Insurance.
