About the opportunity:

The Production Draftsperson, reports to the Drafting Manager and is part of the Weeks Homes Operation team where we deliver homes across the Retail sector. The key focus of this role to prepare accurate drawings to the Retail sector within specified timeframes in line with the customer’s requests and company standards. More specifically, you will:
• Accurately prepare 3D rendering, concept designs, draft sales plans, final sales plans, working drawings and contract plans that incorporates house siting’s, floor plans, elevations, internal drawings, plumbing and slab layouts using ArchiCAD
• Interacting with multiple internal stakeholders including sales consultants, estimators, colour selection consultants and compliance teams.
• Production of working construction drawings including reviews and corrections
• Problem solving construction and drafting related matters.
About you
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
• Experience working on residential production drafting
• A keen eye for detail and high standards
• Team focus, and strong communication skills to build solid relationships
• Organisational ability and initiative
• Experience working in a residential home construction and 2 + years producing drawings
• Understanding of the related construction practices
• Knowledge of all current codes and regulations
• Proficiency in Revit or ArchiCAD is essential, with ArchiCAD experience being highly regarded in the selection process
