We have an exciting opportunity for a Home Assurance Inspector (often referred to as a Maintenance Warranty Supervisor), to join our Home Assurance team as Henley continues to deliver exceptional service to our New Home customers.
This role is designed to supervise maintenance and warranty work carried out by subcontractors and suppliers to clients' newly built homes. This role is based in the Southeast region of Melbourne and is a permanent full-time opportunity where you'll be provided with a fully maintained vehicle, Laptop, IPAD & phone.
About the Role:
Reporting to our Home Assurance Operations Manager, you will use your extensive building industry experience to supervise resources in the provision of warranty and maintenance services for our new home customers.
Main responsibilities include:
- Directly resolving new home customers' concerns and issues in a professional manner.
- Ensuring all maintenance and warranty work is completed to Henley's quality standards.
- Complying with legal obligations such as OH&S, building (BCA), energy, fire, and electrical codes.
- Overseeing contractors, tradespeople, and suppliers onsite.
- Achieving set maintenance and warranty targets all within set timeframes.
- Effectively communicating with all internal and external stakeholders.
About You:
Ideally you have a proven track record in a construction, warranty, or building supervisor position with excellent time management skills and the tendency to thrive under pressure.
As a professional communicator with the ability to problem solve, the key to your success will be to professionally engage each task in a well-planned, fully accountable manner where your commitment to service excellence, quality, and delivering results is second to none.
With residential construction and trade experience, you have a thorough knowledge of current Rescode, Australian Standards, and BCA and your approach to supervising works is by prioritising quality and compliance.
