The opportunity

This position leads the Information Management team and is part of the broader Risk and Governance Team located in the Customer and Business Services Division.

The primary objective of the position is to work with the Risk & Governance Team and the rest of the business to identify, design, build, implement and deliver information and records management services in line with recommendations and advice from the Public Records Office of Victoria, and relevant legislation from the Victorian and Federal Governments.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Diploma minimum) and/or a minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and embedding best practise information management practices to manage records throughout their lifecycle, such as digitisation and indexing of records.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development, application and understanding of information management principles, processes, standards and regulations within an organisation.
  • Strong understanding of, and demonstrated experience in managing Privacy and FOI obligations, with the ability to provide sound advice on complex issues while complying with relevant legislation and policies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
