About the role:

As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. This full-time, in-office role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a polished and professional front-of-house experience. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help ensure the smooth running of our Melbourne office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and greet all visitors with warmth and professionalism.

  • Prepare and maintain meeting rooms, including setup, cleanliness, and food & beverage requirements.

  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable at all times.

  • Manage bookings for meeting rooms and maintain unused rooms to a high standard.

  • Keep kitchens clean and stocked, including daily cleaning of appliances and weekly fridge defrosting.

  • Monitor and replenish food, beverage, and office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.

  • Handle daily errands such as banking and post office runs, and unpack deliveries.

  • Order catering for meetings and maintain stock of client refreshments.

  • Answer and transfer calls professionally, and manage phone messages and emails promptly.

  • Organise couriers and sort incoming/outgoing mail.

  • Assist with various administrative tasks as required.

About you:

You are a confident and well-presented individual who thrives in a professional environment. With a strong eye for detail and a collaborative mindset, you bring energy and reliability to every task. You’re adaptable, approachable, and take pride in delivering high-quality service to both clients and colleagues.

You will ideally have:

  • 12 months to 2 years of experience in a similar corporate environment role

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • A positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • A willingness to work flexible hours as needed

  • A professional presentation and demeanor at all times

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of Year 12
