Client Details

Our client, a provider of critical communication for public safety, mining and utility customers is seeking a Territory Manager - NSW to drive sales and market share in the wireless communication and two-way radio industry . This position will be based in Sydney (near Macquarie Park).

You will be responsible for driving growth across NSW, ACT, Pacific Islands, and New Zealand. You'll manage channel partner relationships, support tenders, and identify new business opportunities across government, consultants, and end clients. This role involves regular travel, technical support, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and market expansion.

Description

The key responsibilities in this position are:

  • Manage sales activities and channel partnerships across assigned territories
  • Support tender submissions and documentation when required
  • Provide product updates, training, and technical assistance to partners
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams on forecasting, reporting, and issue resolution
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events

Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience working in the commercial wireless communication or two-way radio industry
  • Understanding of two-way radio communication technologies (DMR, P25, NXDN preferred)
  • Experience in sales and customer service, with a strong record of achieving targets and closing deals (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and territory management capabilities
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with clients and suppliers
  • Skilled in sales processes, dynamics, and complex tender response preparation
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
