Disability Support Worker - Sunshine Coast

National Networks Plus (NNP) is a unique Not-for-Profit staffing agency operating in Australia. From its humble beginnings supporting the Health and Community sector in Sydney, we have expanded to deliver workforce services across Australia that support the sustainability and quality service delivery for our workforce partners.

Currently we are building our workforce pools across the Sunshine Coast Region so we can provide support to our ever-growing client base in the region. Duties include:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support.
  • Follow established care plans.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes.
  • Work positively and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest care and support provided.
  • Must be able to do personal care and use a hoist

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Individual support or another relevant field or working towards will be considered.
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
  • Current (Paid) Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
  • Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
  • 2 professional references
  • Unrestricted Australian Driver's License (required if providing community access support, driving facility vehicles)
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance (or willing to obtain - required if using own vehicle for work purposes)
