Outdoor Education Coaches – Duke of Edinburgh


Casual (1 -2 camps per term, Friday to Sunday)


Commencing Term 3, 2025 - ongoing


Applications are invited for casual Outdoor Education – Duke of Edinburgh Coaches to commence in Term 3, 2025.


We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Outdoor Education Coaches with an understanding of the Duke of Edinburgh Award requirements, and the ability to inspire and mentor participants.


Be a part of a community which promotes belonging and connectedness and together we can shape the future of our girls as we move into a new era at St Hilda’s.


Qualifications, Skills and Requirements



  • Current CPR/First Aid required
  • Current Paid Blue Card/Exemption Blue Card or willing to obtain prior to commencement
  • Ability to mentor and inspire young women
  • Experience in camping in tents and hiking preferred
  • Willingness to do adventurous journey expeditions including climbing, kayaking, hiking etc
  • Commitment to safety and ability to think on your feet
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with the Duke of Edinburgh Award Program
  • Ability to work flexible hours to attend adventurous journeys on the weekends.

Must be able to support the Anglican ethos of the St Hilda’s School, follow our Code of Conduct and be willing to give permission for the School to submit their details for screening with the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.
